Poetic Dreams

A Young Writers Collective Zine by Longhill High School poets.

Poetic Dreams is the second zine publication by young writers at Longhill High School. Created in December 2022 during Little Green Pig lunchtime clubs, 18 poets aged 11 to 16 have contributed to this publication. With a foreword by workshop leader poet Roy McFarlane, he introduces it well saying: "This zine is all things foul and fair, imagined by the most creative young minds I've had the pleasure to work with. Poetic Dreams is love and hate, garnished with social justice and environmental concerns, sprinkled with wicked humour on hot waffles dripping with lived experience.
